UEFA FINAL: Real Madrid vs Liverpool Team news, injuries, possible lineups

Zinedine Zidane’s men will on Saturday night clash with Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League (UCL) final in Kiev.

Real qualified for this final after beating Bayern Munich 4-3 on aggregate in the semi-final encounter earlier this month.

Zidane’s men head into this clash following their 2-2 draw against Villarreal last Saturday on the final day of the LaLiga fixture.

The Los Blancos will hope to beat the Reds so as to win the Champions League trophy for the third successive year.

A win for Zidane’s side, will make the LaLiga giants the third team to claim three straight European Cup titles. Ajax (1971-73) and Bayern Munich (1974-76) are the only others to win three titles in a row.

Real are expected to have a fully fit squad to choose from, with Zidane revealing that forward, Cristiano Ronaldo would be “120 per cent fit” for the final in Kiev.

Dani Carvajal and Isco have regained match fitness. Both players are available for selection on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool head into their Champions League first final since 2007.

Klopp’s men are looking to add a sixth title after last winning it in the memorable 2005 final against AC Milan.

Klopp will be without Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Joe Gomez for the final, with both players also ruled out of the 2018 World Cup in Russia as a result of their respective knee and ankle injuries.

Joel Matip will also miss the final with a thigh injury.

The Reds have concerns over James Milner and Emre Can as well, although both players are expected to make the final having trained on Monday.

This is the eight appearance for Liverpool in the Champions League finals.

They have won the Champions League five times in their history (1977, 1978, 1981, 1984, 2005) losing twice.

The last time the Anfield club reached the final of the competition was in 2007 which they lost 2-1 to AC Milan.
